First of all, I'm not necroing a thread thats 5+ months old.

I have a problem with this:

build when I raptor farm.

It seems that if I dont get the bonus "Is There Anything I Can't Do?" before Silver runs out, then I'm screwed.

Am I doing something wrong, or is this true?

You need AoS to recharge your skills, otherwise mist form will go down. It's good to have sliver up more aswell.

nope you're not doing anything wrong. if you don't get the skill recharge, you're screwed.

Just because you can use this build to farm Raptors doesn't mean you should. If you are relying on a particular bonus from AoS to make this build work, it's not worth it, the bonuses are applied at random.

Most of the time the broodmother will get targeted early by sliver (not always) and you will get the recharge that way even without Air of superiority. I usually will hold off casting sliver until ALL of the raptors are completely around me (and burned their disrupting stab). But, yes, you will get a few failed runs now and then with this build.

I just use any old Earth Staff with a 20% Enchanting Mod (a must). I use the staff instead of a focus/Totem axe because I want to be able to send a ranged attack toward the Broodmother in case she runs away. If you have 5 saurian bones you can get an earth staff (with a pretty cool skin too) from a collector outside Gadd's Encampment.

Also, I'm not sure what Asuran rank you are. If you aren't like R10, go ahead and substitute "Armor of Mist" for "Mindbender" because it probably isn't lasting long enough for you. Here's another post of mine describing the original format of that build sans mindbender:

The main thing is to play around with your timing for casting sliver. I have found that waiting for all the raptors to surround you first (a single red dot on your radar) seems to get interrupted the least (I assume they all wasted their disrupt attack on their initial attack).

Thanks, and I'm nearly r5, so mindbender works nicely for me.

Interrupts aren't a big problem for me with the first group, I wait maybe two seconds and then cast my chain. Most interrupts happen later in the farm.

Can this build work for HM?

I use the Escape version of the farm, if you are unlucky and don't get a skill recharge (happens a lot) you just run around the rock for a few seconds and your recharged. The Escape build is also better because its faster (running to and around the cave) and offers less chance of an interrupt, also less dependent on that recharge. The escape version only works in HM (breaks agro in NM), and you can pull the raptors into the cave too to get near 40 kills inc. Boss.

Well, there's your problem. This is a hard mode build. In normal mode you don't need ANY running skill since the raptors are slow. Aggro the whole cave minus a couple of the loners. Don't do them in groups. You will HAVE to ditch Mindbender for Armor of Mist because it for sure will run out before you aggro the whole cave at R5. Here is a video of the ranger run. It's a bit fuzzy but pay attention to the timing of the skills and how I aggro'd the whole cave:
